YES! Harmony Air will work with you to find the best and most economical way to get your pilot’s license. There may also be scholarships and financial assistance available to help you achieve your dream.

This varies by individual. If you are able to put in consistent training time week after week, it will cost less than spreading your learning over a longer period of time. Call us and let’s figure out how we can get you flying today.

The FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) has a requirement of 40 hours of flight training time for your first private pilot certificate (there are many you can achieve). This is your VFR (Visual Flight Rules) pilot certificate and will let you fly when the weather is decent. While 40 hours is the minimum, the national average is 60-70 hours.

While everything has risk, flying is actually safer than driving a vehicle. Current statistics show flying accidents occur significantly less than automobile accidents. Our planes are required by the Federal Aviation Administration to be inspected by certified mechanics a minimum of every 100 hours of operation and our instructors are fully certified and continue to have additional training and safety courses.

To get your pilots license you have to be at least 17, but with an instructor you can start flying at nearly any age. You don’t have to wait until you are 17 to start getting your instruction. Call us and find out how we can help you today.

With your VFR private pilot’s license, in decent weather, you will now have the ability to fly to ANY airport inside or outside the United States (subject to foreign country regulations), and you can carry passengers.

Non-US citizens must be approved by the TSA. All applications must be submitted online and approved before any training can begin. Submit an application via https://www.flightschoolcandidates.gov
